About

  The band program at SVHS is comprised of interested music students in grades 9 through 12 that meet prerequisite skill levels on their instrument.  The program consists of 2 concerts bands, 2 jazz ensembles, marching band, pep band, winterguard and several smaller chamber ensembles. Our marching, concert and jazz ensembles have earned numerous superior ratings and top awards since 1998. The program is highly invested in a culture of acceptance, discipline, commitment and a high level of excellence. Our goal is to make excellent people and excellent musicians.

We the members of the Spring Valley Bands will always strive for superior performances through hard work and dedication. As passionate members, we will work to achieve motivation, discipline, and camaraderie in an enjoyable working environment.  United in our common goal, we will seek to instill pride in our band program, school, and community by representing them with professionalism and dignity.
